So, when I found this adorable banners and pendants at Tops Malibu, I loved them!!

There is a sweet story about how the founder started the company after the gifts that her dad brought her from his business travels. I am a woman small business owner, and I love to support other ones rather than big companies! So, this sweet party company is great in my book!!

Weird Science

Remember that 80's movie? I saw it when I was a kid...I wonder how its holding up now... Sigh. I like John Hughes.

Anyway, this teacher is graduating with her master's in science, which is actually not weird at all. But the movie wasn't called "Not-so-weird-science" because that is not a cute title for a movie or a blog entry.

To celebrate her Master's (YEAH!!!) I designed a Graduation Girl with science emphasis. She is holding bags with teacher supplies, pencils, chalkboards, and an apple, and the bags have planets, starts, the moon and rocket ship.

This was a fun one to design since I got to put a little sciency flair. I had to rack my brain to figure out what science would be....its been a long time since I sat in a classroom!!

I cut this invitation off to hide the personal details. Its actually a bit longer in real life. I normally change the contact details before I post them, but I doing a "post and run" to go pick up my son!

This is a reminder that I will be on vacation soon, so any new orders should be submitted as soon as possible!

For the hard-to-buy-for-dad (and whose isn't? Seriously!? Sheesh!) these iced sugar cookies are too cute to eat! They are from Eleni's in NY, and they come in such a cute square brown box.


This first one is my very favorite. Can you get over the shirts and ties?






I love the detail in the tool box-- wood glue and measuring tape! Cuteness!

My son would like this one-- just because it has a baseball. He would probably rather carry the ball around than eat it.

My friends sent me these once when I was on a diet, and I said I was gonna freeze them until I was not dieting so I could enjoy them later. They commented when they got out of the freezer that they might be cold and have all frowny faces. I am probably not doing the joke justice, but it was really funny. :)

The kind of laughing where tears are rolling down your face

That is what I experience when I read this blog: Cake Wrecks. This is a place where the worst professional cakes are shown. The cakes are horrible, that's for sure. But the funniest part is the girl who writes it- she is downright hysterical. My son is asleep and I am trying to keep my laughter down, but I am guffawing and crying b/c I am laughing so hard at her comments. Its just so funny.



This first one makes me laugh every time I think of it. Can you imagine the conversation that followed this?

Do you have to have a certain skill, like spelling or understanding, to work at a bakery? Um, nope.

When not just any label will do...

I feel like I have had to capture a few moments here and there to fill orders. I look forward to this time so much- so it is nice to take a quiet time and design!!

This is a gift label...

For those mom's that have 10 million birthday parties a weekend and don't want to write a card for a 3 year old, these sticky gift labels are a great bet. After designing some rocket ship ones for another little boy, I had to make some for my son...





These also are great ways to label things. I feel like I am constantly rewriting his name with a sharpie on all the stuff he carries around!

Speaking of my son, he ate one of his daddy's shrimp at dinner tonight and ate the tail! We were trying to get him to spit it out or let us take it out, and he didn't understand, so he just put the whole mouth of food in his napkin. Which was better than eating the tail, I guess. He also likes to eat ketchup so much that he just dips his fingers in it and licks them. Niiiiiice. Eating with a 2 year old is not for the faint of heart. Y

As I sit here blogging, I notice that I don't have many followers. Does this make me uncool in the blogging world? I am not really sure what being a follower is, except that you get updates when I update my blog, if I understand correctly. So, that can't be a bad thing.

Ironic Tees if you please

Today's Fresh Friday is coming late in the day, just b/c family time is coming first in this busy summertime! Which is a good thing, because people are more important than blogs!! :) I mean, right?

The ironic tee never gets old to me. Some of them are so stupid, but they make me laugh and are way more creative than the youth group t-shirt or old college shirt.
